My Healthy Keto Journey
I am so glad you found your way here & So let me share a little bit more about me:
I have always been driven to excel in my personal and professional life but felt defeated because I COULD NOT get a handle on my weight. Never thin growing up and never completely comfortable with my body because of it. However, this did NOT stop me from doing all the things I loved, like Traveling to Europe, South America, Caribbean. I can say I have a “zest” for life. However, approaching my 40th Birthday, I could not believe I still had not figured out the key to getting healthy and losing weight. That all changed that year! I did much research in a relatively unknown way of eating at the time (KETO) and made sure I knew how to do it at its highest level. When I started, I was Pre-diabetic and over 150 overweight. In one year, I lost over 80lbs in one year and have been able to keep the weight off for the last 4 years.
I have learned that much of what is “common knowledge” is misleading and at times, outright WRONG. The fact that I was even able to start my journey while I was weighed down, foggy headed feels like a miracle to me. I am grateful for all that I have learned & implemented. These are strategies that work.

To know about Ketotranslate, you need to know why it began. On my journey, I realized there was a lot of conflicting information on the Keto diet that clearly is an obstacle to getting healthy and losing weight. This urgent need for truth led to me documenting my journey & creating this content, to “translate” Healthy Keto to help myself and others.

It works because our bodies can run off two types of fuels: Ketones or Sugar (glucose). On the ketogenic diet, your body switches the fuel from glucose to run almost only on the fat you consume & your fat reserves helping you to lose weight!
